Group Classes – FAQ’s

1. What are your Group Strength & Conditioning classes?

Our Group Strength & Conditioning classes are coached, full-body training sessions designed to make you stronger, fitter, and more resilient for life. You’ll lift weights, build conditioning, and work on mobility in a structured way without having to plan your own workouts. Every class is coach-led, with clear demonstrations and guidance from start to finish.

2. Who are these classes for?

These classes are for adults who want to get stronger, feel better, and move with more confidence, whether you’re brand new to lifting or already active. Most of our members are busy professionals and parents who don’t have time to “live in the gym” but still want serious, long-term results that benefit their lives.

3. Do I need to be in shape before I start?

No. You do not need to “get in shape” before you come to us.
It’s a tool for becoming healthier – no matter what stage you’re at. Your current fitness level is your starting point we scale movements, loads, and intensity  so you can workout safely and effectively on day one.

4. What does a typical class look like?

A typical class includes:

  • A proper warm-up and movement prep
  • A strength piece
  • A conditioning piece
  • Short accessory work or mobility work to round things out

You’ll always know what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how it should feel as your coaches guide you through.

5. How many times per week should I come?

For most people, 3–4 classes per week is the sweet spot.
If you’re newer to lifting or coming back from time off, 2–3 classes per week is a great place to start. As you build capacity and recovery, we can add more frequency if it makes sense for your goals.

6. I have injuries / aches / a long history with my body. Can I still join?

Yes! This is common.
Our coaches are experienced in modifying movements and building around knees, shoulders, backs, and old injuries. You’ll always have options to scale the workout so you can train safely without feeling like you’re being left behind.

7. I’m a beginner and weights intimidate me. Will I fit in?

Absolutely. We work with a lot of beginners and people who have felt intimidated in traditional gym environments. We break movements down, coach you through each step, and progress you when you’re ready. You’ll never be thrown into the deep end and expected to “just know” what to do.

8. How big are the classes, and will I get individual attention?

We keep our class sizes intentionally limited so you’re never just another body in the room. Coaches are constantly moving around the floor—correcting technique, offering cues, giving encouragement, and adjusting weights or variations to match your ability.

9. How is this different from Personal Training?

Personal Training is 1:1 and fully customized to you – every minute is tailored to your goals, schedule, and needs.
Group classes use a structured program that everyone follows, with individual scaling and coaching layered on top. It’s a great fit if you want expert coaching, a clear plan, and enjoy the community.

10. What kind of results can I expect?

With consistent attendance (2–4x per week) and reasonable effort, most members notice:

  • Increased strength and muscle tone
  • Better energy and stamina in day-to-day life
  • Improved confidence with lifting and movement
  • Less “mystery soreness” and more resilient joints
Clothes fitting differently as strength and body composition improve

Your exact results will depend on your starting point, effort, and lifestyle—but our goal is simple: measurable, repeatable progress.

11. What do I need to bring to class?

Just comfortable workout clothes, indoor training shoes, a water bottle, and a good attitude. We provide the equipment and the plan.

12. I’m worried I’ll slow everyone down. What if I can’t keep up?

Our classes are designed so everyone can work at their own level, in the same session. You’ll have your own weights, your own scaling options, and your own targets for the day. The win isn’t “being the fastest”—it’s showing up, doing the work that’s right for you, and progressing over time.

13. I’ve tried gyms before and never stuck with it. How is this different?

We don’t just hand you a key and hope you figure it out.
You get:

  • A coach-led session every time you walk in
  • A structured program that builds week to week
  • A community that notices when you’re there (and when you’re not)
  • Progressions that keep things challenging, but not overwhelming

Our goal is to make consistency easier, not harder.

15. How do I get started?

Simple:

  1. Reach out to us (via email or contact form) and let us know you’re interested in Group classes.
  2. We’ll chat about your goals, schedule, and any injuries or concerns.
  3. We’ll help you choose a start date and membership option, and then you’ll head into your sessions.
