THE Black Bar Fitness STORY
Jenn Winder - OWNER AND HEAD COACH
Jenn Winder opened Black Bar CrossFit in 2013 after a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease at age 21 left her in search to live a better quality of life. “I decided I needed to take control of my destiny, and that learning about nutrition, exercise and stress management while implementing them into my life was what I needed to do. I am proud to say that I have put my disease into remission for 9 years now with no medication.”
Since opening BBF in 2013, Jenn has been focused on creating a community that is welcoming and an environment where others feel safe allowing them to grow and challenge themselves. “I believe that health and fitness is the foundation to thrive in life and we are here to help you achieve it.”
She is passionate about coaching, helping others achieve amazing results, a positive mindset and bringing the life-changing results of CrossFit to those around her. “I am a mother of 2 who is committed to showing my kids how to live a healthy life and that anything is possible through hard work and dedication.”
